  1. What is Compass
  2. ===============
  3. Compass has been a popular and powerful bookmark manager utility program
  4. since its first release in January, 1997.  The new version 2.7x supports
  5. three most popular browsers - Netscape, Internet Explorer, and Opera.  Plus,
  6. it can launch any system specified generic browsers.

  8. What makes Compass unique is the power of handling the hierarchical structure
  9. of folders.  With Compass, you'll be amazed how easily you can find and organize
  10. your bookmarks the way you want, and how easily you can integrate all bookmarks
  11. from different computers or different browsers.

  14. or a "note editor."  You can use Compass to create your personal journal,

  76. Each Single-User License allows:
  77. The registered user and ONLY the registered user to install and run the
  78. software (Compass 2.x) on any number of workstations.  When the registered
  79. user does not plan to run the software on a workstation, he/she must remove
  80. the software (including the registration file) from the workstation.
  81. A registered user must be a person and can not be a company or an organization.
  82. The software may not be installed on a server computer.  To install the
  83. software on a server computer, you must purchase enough number of
  84. Single-Workstation Licenses (see below) to cover all workstations that have
  85. access to the server.

  87. Single-Workstation License

  89. Each Single-Workstation License allows:
  90. Any number of users to run the software (Compass 2.x) on one and ONLY one
  91. workstation.  The software may be installed only on one workstation.
  92. If the user wants to run the software on another workstation, he/she must
  93. remove the software (including the registration file) from the original
  94. workstation BEFORE he/she installs the software on another workstation.
  95. If the software is to be installed on a server computer, you must purchase
  96. enough number of Single-Workstation Licenses to cover all workstations that
  97. have access to the server.  For example, if there are 10 workstations,
  98. which have access to the server, you need 10 Single-Workstation Licenses
  99. to be able to legally install the software on the server.
